As our stunning gorgeous community grows, I see more and more opportunities for you, worms, to steward our collective wormy future. So if you want to be more involved with our bookish community—whether you love gathering folks and want an excuse to hang out at your fav local bookstore, or you want to f*ck capitalism and skim some hours off your day job, or you want to work with more folks from the book industry—we would love your help tending to our community garden :)

If you’re interested in learning more and/or want to vote on what we shall call ourselves (name ideas include: bookworm baddies, bookworm ‘bassadors, the compost bin…etc) check this out:

If you don’t have the time but still want to help, you can support Bookworm financially by going ProWorm, gift Bookworm Pro to a worm in need, or make a one-time donation here.

🐛💨 We’re so speedy!

Have you noticed the drastic speed improvements across the app? Thanks to @carrie_underworm for her skills and time, you should now see the spinning wheel a lot less. In particular, your friends feed and book pages are now way faster 🙂 

✨ So fresh and so clean

I am still not over the redesign that we launched a couple weeks ago (now live on iphone and android!!). Shoutout to @wormalie_wormnese for the hard work in making the app look so beautiful and sleek, while keeping the delightful Bookworm spirit. And you’ve only seen part 1!! Part 2 is coming soon, right after…

👀😱 Coming soon: Book clubs!!!

I cannot wait for you to see this. I’ve been building a whole suite of features to help you bring your book club together. I’ve been coding this baby for A WHILE and I am so thrilled for it to finally (almost!) be in your hands. I’m just adding the finishing touches and making sure it all works as it should—so be on the lookout for this sweet new feature!

On that note, wanna be a beta tester?

You can get early access to new features (like book clubs!), a direct line to team Bookworm, and do vital work to help Bookworm be the best it can be. If you’re interested, reply right here with your name and what device you use (iphone, android, ipad, etc) and let us know!
