What’s one book you think everyone in the Bookworm community should read? Why?
Educated by Tara Westover. I’m not kidding when I say that this is a recommendation for EVERYONE! It’s unbelievable, inspiring, and quintessential Wormie endeavor 🥰
What’s the book you’re always recommending to friends?
A Bookworm favorite - “A Long Way to a Small Angry Planet” by: Becky Chambers. A cozy sci-fi that oozes in so many things our polarized world seems to be lacking. Humanity, understanding, and the importance of community. A feel-good adventure that is accessible for those who have never even done a trek through space🚀
What’s the book that made you love reading?
My all-time favorite, “The Giver” by: Lois Lowry. This is the book that LAUNCHED me into a deep love of dystopias. Categorically cynical thanks to its hopeless nature, dystopias continue to fascinate and scare me.
How do you decide what to read next?
Honestly, I travel to the likes of Bookworm! This community seldom recommends unworthy reads. I’ll peruse through the community chats, others’ reviews, etc… To find my next literary escapade.
How did you find out about Bookworm?
A social media ad a long time ago! Once I downloaded, I was hooked 🪱. I hated traversing the far-too serious world of Goodreads and was so relieved to find this worm, accepting community 🩷
What dream bestie do you want for your worm?
I’m biased (thanks to my own mischievous fur baby, Munch), but I’d ADORE a Black Cat bestie🥰 🐈⬛
